these are more characters for my story gunshin. aside from adrian, they're sort of minor. i sketched some of these a while ago & others recently. going clockwise from upper left:

vasily - a drug dealer that yuji hacks up in the first three pages of the comic lol he doesn't do much, but his being dead causes some troubles for yuji later on

suleiman (plus 1 bodyguard) - head of the yardies. also deals in 'substances' but acts sort of like a godfather to yuji. contracts yuji for hits, usually with competitive gangs

brennen - kali's father. used to be a member of the kidoutai, the police force ran by the highred corporation. rescued several fellow officers & is seen as a hero. he's a mechanical genius, quite big, & speaks with a thick brogue

ying jao - an old bosatsu monk who was supposed to rally fighters & create an army for an unimaginable battle for the fate of the universe. is seen as a nutjob because of it. likes jazz, tea, liquor, tea w/ liquor, & kung fu

*Pats Ying Jao* He reminds me of a character in a video game... Virtuafighter? I can't remember anymore, something like that, though. It was an old guy.. and he carried a bottle of hooch with him.. and not surprisingly, his fighting style was drunken master. Hee.

shun? yeah he's not as ridiculous as shun, but he does like to get his drink on every so often.
don't know the official term, but a brogue is usually a celtic accent to english, be it irish or scottish. with him (& kali), i'm not sure which to make it, maybe something straight down the middle.

lol actually... all of them have accents lol i just realized. adrian's sounds like swiss, vasily's russian, ying's chinese, & suleiman's jamaican lol crazy (mind you the geography's different in the story, but that's what they're along the lines of lol
and don't worry, the cooler people in the story don't smoke! lol
